Peanuts started in 1950, as a newspaper comic strip with characters which are now internationally famous with fans around the world.

Two limited edition Seiko 5 Sports watches have been designed with original Peanuts illustrations on the dial and caseback, drawings selected from the same year as the launch of the Seiko 5 Sports brand; 1963.The ‘Schulz’ font, a style used by Peanuts creator Charles M.Schulz, is used for the indices. This specific design features a Surfboard as its main theme.

Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance, and value.
‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
