Introducing the Double anniversary collaboration with Masked Rider: Japanese Manga TV program aired in the 70s.

In 1968, this watch design concept was created from the “51-5” also known as the “Hongo model” by Seiko watch lovers. This is because Masked Rider’s protagonist, Takeshi Hongo, wears 5 Sports as his communication device.

This modern interpretation of the Hongo model, this design case adopts the current SKX design. The dial and index designs inherit the 1968 original, but the balance of the indexes was adjusted to give a modern aesthetic. The colour of the dial represents the colour of the face mask of the first Masked Rider and the grained calf leather strap with a red backside is inspired by the Masked Rider’s scarf. The Tachibana racing club logo used on the bike and belt of Masked Rider is marked on the exhibition case back.

Each limited edition piece comes with a special box matching the masked rider’s aesthetic.
